Thanks to all and sundry who have been responsible for publishing and enjoying a great bit of North Carolina press for Kingfly lately. Every time we pick up a local paper or magazine we see our own ugly mugs, often riding monkey bikes. It's just getting embarrassing, but we're awfully greatful. The big news this week is the debut of Kingfly Radio. Every month, we'll be debuting a new hour-long, streamable, downloadable radio show, in which we'll be playing four kinds of music (country, western, country, AND western): 1) the cream of the crop from the local, regional, and national bands that we've been playing with on the road, featuring a healthy dose of great NYC and Winston-Salem bands; 2) Kingfly B-sides, outtakes, and side-project tracks that you're not likely to hear anywhere else; 3) selected tracks from artists that we've been producing in our own Flytrap Studios; 4) a selection of tracks that have seen duty in our CD players of late.
